Delhi University clears ₹5,889-crore hostel plan: Can it solve its student accommodation crisis?

Delhi University has approved a ₹5,889-crore hostel plan to add accommodation for 21,895 students. But with over 2.5 lakh students, limited existing hostel beds and delays in earlier projects, funding approvals and timely construction will determine whether the plan can ease the housing crisis.
