Why tree plantation matters

Trees improve air quality, provide shade, support birds and insects, and help keep the local climate in balance. The group said the drive was also meant to encourage teamwork and a shared sense of responsibility for nature.

Protecting the environment needs steady effort from businesses, communities and individuals alike — not one-off campaigns.

Founder’s message

Speaking to reporters, Mr Mishra said protecting the environment is not only the job of governments and organisations; individuals and communities also have an important part to play.

“Every tree we plant today is an investment in a healthier and greener tomorrow. Through collective efforts and responsible action, we can create a better environment for future generations.”

— Manik Chandra Mishra, Founder, Rajeshwar Group

He also urged people to take part in environmental initiatives and to adopt everyday habits that support long-term sustainability.

CSR and the community

Through the drive, Rajeshwar Group sought to link business growth with environmental and social well-being. The campaign’s message was simple: “Let’s grow a better future together.”
