Two board exams for Class 10

Under CBSE's two-examination system for Class 10, the first board examination is compulsory for all students, and the LOC for it must be submitted now. The LOC for the second examination will be submitted separately after the first exam.

What parents and students should check

  • Ask your school to show the LOC data before it is finalised.
  • Check the spelling of your name, your parents' names, your date of birth and subject codes.
  • CBSE has said requests to change subjects after LOC submission will not be accepted.
  • Private candidates are handled through a separate process announced by CBSE.

The full circular is available on the official website, cbse.gov.in. Students should rely on CBSE and their school for final information. Always confirm details on the official website before applying.
