Union Cabinet approves ₹10,000 crore container manufacturing scheme to boost capacity tenfold, generate 53,000 jobs
Cabinet approved container manufacturing promotion scheme which comes with three major components, including Interest Subvention Assistance (ISA), Operational Expenditure Assistance (OEA), and testing and certification assistance. The initiative was announced in the Union Budget 2026-27.
