Yes Bank flags 250-bps impact on core capital ratio after Supreme Court upholds AT-1 bond write-off ruling
Yes Bank said its Common Equity Tier 1 capital ratio could fall by about 250 basis points after the Supreme Court upheld a ruling against the 2020 write-down of ₹8,415 crore in AT-1 bonds. The bank expects its overall Tier 1 ratio to remain at 14% and is reviewing its legal options.
